WHAT DOES EXZEO MEAN?
Many people ask us, “What does Exzeo mean?”
Well,
back in 2012 when our vision for the company was being developed, we
sought a name that captured the spirit of what we strived to
accomplish – take massive amounts of data and transform it into
simplified, useful information for the insurance industry. Some
smart people started tossing around words like EXabyte, ZEttabyte
and YOttabyte – all words meaning LOTS of data. Thus, EXZEO was
born! So, there you have it: At Exzeo, we take lots of information
and transform it to make insurance simple.
OUR FOUNDATION
Exzeo is the technology subsidiary of TypTap Insurance Group, which is a part of HCI Group, a publicly traded company (HCI – NYSE) with operations in insurance, software development, and real estate.
